10.00am-10.30am: Karl Chessell, CGA by NIQ’s director, examines the current eating and drinking out landscape, focuses on the key trends and looks at those businesses in position to thrive.

10.30am-11.00am: Charlotte Kemp, managing director of Sixty Eight People, talks to Tom James, managing director of the Richard Caring-backed Bill’s Restaurants, about the cultural change he has led at the business, which has resulted in a doubling of sales and a return to the expansion trail. 

11.00am-11.20am: Nick Birdi, investment manager at Imbiba, talks about how the company will deliver a new 65,000 sq ft hospitality and leisure venue at Canary Wharf, which will house a number of the brands it backs. 

11.20am-11.40am: Deena Ataie, founder of Heriots Patisserie, discusses the birth of the café/cake ship concept, its growth across London, and where it goes from here. 

11.40am-12.00pm: Dav Sahota, co-founder of Fatto a Mano, the independent pizza concept, talks about standing out in a highly-competitive market, and his take on steady and sustainable growth.

1.00pm-1.30pm: Richard Lewis, group chief executive of RedCat Hospitality, the operator of Coaching Inn Group and RedCat Independent Pubs, talks about building on a transitional year for the business, growing a company-wide culture, how its investment programme is gaining momentum and returning to the expansion trail. 

1.30pm-2.00pm: Ed Devenport, co-founder and chief executive of the Incipio Group, discusses the company’s ability to curate different F&B offers across large spaces in high-profile locations, including its biggest project to date across 40,000sq ft in London’s Olympia (set to open October 2025), plus the challenges and opportunities provided from continually evolving their offering and guest experience to remain at the top of their game.

2.00pm-2.30pm: Caroline Ottoy, managing director of specialty coffee concept WatchHouse, talks about the brand’s continued growth in the UK amidst an increasingly competitive category, it’s move into the US and its plans for further international expansion.

3.00pm-3.30pm: Simon Dodd, chief executive of Young’s, talks to Propel’s Mark Wingett about the challenge of providing a premium offer, appealing to a generation of moderate drinkers and the future of the pub.

3.30pm-4.00pm: Jon Lake, managing director of Chopstix, discusses the fast-growing brand’s three-year strategy, which lays out a roadmap to reaching £200m in system sales, 300 sites and placing 100 neurodiverse young people into work across its estate by 2027.

4.00pm-4.30pm: Yishay Malkov, managing director of Soho House UK, talks about how the members club business is attracting new members and also retaining its existing ones, the role F&B plays and plans for further growth here. 

4.30pm-5.00pm: James Brown, chief executive of Prezzo, talks about re-energising the Italian casual-dining brand, the opportunities and challenges it faces and what comes next for the 25-year old business.

5.00pm-5.25pm: Graeme Smith, managing director at AlixPartners, gives his thoughts on the current sector investment landscape and reveals those companies that have topped the inaugural AlixPartners/Propel Growth Tracker.
